Like all the Mawimbi properties, this cottage is set facing the Indian Ocean. This 1 bedroom cottage features a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, a tropical garden with ancient baobabs, and palm trees, a private pool, spacious veranda, upstairs terrace, kitchen and living area, as well as access to the large shared swimming pool. Chef, masseuse and babysitter available additionally, on request.
Mawimbi means ‘waves’ in the local language kiswahili. A tribute to the nearby coral reef, that protects the enchanting Diani lagoon by Indian ocean waves.

Getting To Us
Diani has its own airport in Ukunda, which is a 10 minute drive from the house. Mombasa airport is approx 30 minutes away. We are happy to organize an taxi transfer should you need.
